Mighty Mike McGee is a well-traveled “stand-up poet” and storyteller from San José, California. In the world of poetry slam, he is the first to win both the 2003 National Poetry Slam Individual Grand Championship and the 2006 Individual World Poetry Slam Grand Championship. He has toured very extensively throughout United States, Canada and Europe. Since 2002, he’s covered several hundred thousand miles performing his brand of poetry and humor. McGee has been featured on HBO’s Def Poetry Jam, CBC Radio and Television, and NPR’s Snap Judgment. He was one of the first Americans to perform spoken word at the University of Paris, la Sorbonne in 2005. He was appointed Poet Laureate of Santa Clara County (Silicon Valley) for 2018 & 2019. MINDA LACY

Minda Lacy is a Portland based music maker originally from New Mexico. Her sound is a lyrically driven folk with vaguely morbid psychedelic undertones and a light hearted sweetness reminiscent of a cool breeze blowing through a chinchillas belly fur. She has a unique soulful singing voice, and some mean guitar skills. Catch her at one of her upcoming shows if you get a chance! Find more at mindalacy.com.

IGOR BREZHNEV

Igor Brezhnev is a Portland-based poet, publisher and a book designer, among his other sins. His most recent body of published work is titled ‘nights since’. It is a series of 363 poems written every night from January 18th, 2019 to January 14th, 2020 documenting the emotional landscape of being without a home. Igor’s other work includes two full-length poetry books and a number of spoken-word album. More information about Igor and his books can be found at igorbrezhnev.com.
